Beena Kamlani's fiction has been published in Ploughshares (2007), Virginia Quarterly Review (2007), Pushcart Prize Anthology: Best of the Small Presses, XXXIII (2009), Story Digest/Writer's Digest, The Lifted Brow, 2008 (Australia) and World Literature Today (2010). Her work has been published in several anthologies and she has received fellowships at Yaddo, Ledig House, Jentel Arts, Hawthornden, and Hedgebrook. She lives in New York City and is working on a novel.
