Carl Dennis’ poem “Introduction to Philosophy” will appear in his twelfth book of poems, Another Reason, which is to be published by Penguin in April 2014. A recipient of the Pulitzer Prize and the Ruth Lilly Prize, he lives in Buffalo, New York.
