Cathleen Calbert is the author of two books of poetry: Lessons in Space (University of Florida Press, 1997) and Bad Judgment (Sarabande Books, 1999). Her poems and stories have appeared in The Best American Poetry 1995, Ms. Magazine, The Nation, The Paris Review, The Southern Review, and The Women's Review of Books. She is a professor of English at Rhode Island College.
