Christopher Kennedy is the author of four collections of poetry, most recently Ennui Prophet (BOA Editions, Ltd., 2011) and Encouragement for a Man Falling to His Death (BOA Editions, Ltd., 2007), which received the Isabella Gardner Poetry Award. His work has appeared recently in Plume, Juked, Ampersand Review, Heavy Feather Review, and The Laurel Review. A recipient of a poetry fellowship from the NEA in 2011, he teaches at Syracuse University where he directs the MFA Program in Creative Writing.
