My first book of poetry, The Tyrant of the Past and the Slave of the Future, won the 1988 Associated Writing Programs award, and my second, The Patriot, was published in 1998 by The University of Georgia Press. My third, A History of the Only War, will be published in 2005 by Four Way Books.
