David Mills got his master's degree in creative writing from New York University. He has had poems published in journals such as FENCE, jubilat, Callaloo, Hanging Loose magazine, and Rattapallax. He has received fellowships from Bread Loaf, Cave Canem, and the New York Foundation for the Arts.
