Donald Platt's second book, Cloud Atlas, will appear this winter from Purdue University Press as a winner of the Verna Emery Poetry Prize. His chapbook Leap Second at the Turn of the Millennium was published in the spring of 2000 by the Center for Book Arts in New York City. He is an associate professor of English at Purdue University.
