Elizabeth Evans

Elizabeth Evans is the author of five books, including Suicide’s Girlfriend (Harper Perennial, 2002) and Carter Clay (Harper Perennial, 2000). Her new novel, As Good as Dead, is forthcoming from Bloomsbury. Evans’ awards include the Iowa Author Award, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, the James Michener Fellowship, a Lila Wallace Award, and residencies at MacDowell Colony, Yaddo, and other foundations. She is Professor of Creative Writing at University of Arizona and lives in Tucson.
