Ellen Litman was born in Moscow, Russia, where she lived until 1992. Her fiction has appeared in Best New American Voices 2007, Best of Tin House, TriQuarterly, The Ontario Review, and elsewhere. Her novel in stories, The Last Chicken in America, will be published by W.W. Norton in the fall of 2007.
