Emily Mitchell's first novel The Last Summer of the World (W.W. Norton & Company) was a finalist for the NYPL Young Lions Award. Her stores have been published in TriQuarterly, New England Review, and Agni. Her reviews have appeared in The New York Times and New Statesman. She teaches creative writing at Cleveland State University.
