Gary Short is the author of two books of poems, Theory of Twilight (Ahsahta) and Flying Over Sonny Liston (Nevada), which received the 1996 Western States Book Award. His poems have appeared recently in The Antioch Review andPoetry. He lives in American Flat, Nevada, population nine.
