George Economou has published 14 books of poetry and translation. After earning his PhD in medieval English and comparative literature at Columbia University in 1967, he taught English and Creative writing at various universities for 41 years. He lives with his wife, poet and playwright Rochelle Owens in Philadelphia and Cape Cod.
