Gretchen E. Henderson

Gretchen E. Henderson is a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT. Her books include the collaboratively-deforming novel, Galerie de Difformité (Lake Forest College Press, 2011); a critical exploration of literary appropriations of music and silence, On Marvellous Things Heard (The Green Lantern Press, 2011); a cartographic poetry chapbook, Wreckage: By Land & By Sea (Dancing Girl Press, 2011); and the recently published novel, The House Enters the Street (Starcherone Books, 2012). Gretchen received the Madeleine P. Plonsker Prize and currently is working on Ugliness: A Cultural History (for Reaktion Books).
