Ian Singleton studied at the University of Michigan and Emerson College and writes poetry and fiction, some of which a few journals have published. He has worked in libraries for sevral years and taught in a prison, and is currently at work on a story collection manuscript and various other projects. His review of Shirley Jackson: Novels and Stories, edited by Joyce Carol Oates, appears in Ploughshares Winter 2010-11.
