Isabel Nathaniel was a 1990 winner of the "Discovery"/ The Nation award, and has won three Poetry Society of America awards. Her work has appeared most recently in Poetry and The Nation. She is completing a first collection, Infernal Regions. A New Yorker, she is married to a Texan and has lived in Dallas for twelve years.
