James Scott lives in Boston. His fiction has been published in One Story, Post Road, American Short Fiction, Ploughshares, and other journals. He is the recipient of awards from the Sewanee Writers' Conference, Emerson College, the Millay Colony, the New York State Summer Writers' Institute, and Yaddo.
