Jay Hopler

Jay Hopler's work has appeared in The Iowa Review, The Journal, The Kenyon Review, Mid-American Review, The New Yorker, Pleiades and The Seattle Review. His book of poems, Green Squall, was chosen by Louise Glück as the winner of the 2005 Yale Series of Younger Poets Award. Green Squall was published by Yale University Press in April 2006 and has received several awards and honors, including a 2006 Florida Book Award [Silver Medal], a 2006 ForeWord Magazine Book of the Year Award [Bronze Medal] and the 2007 Great Lakes Colleges Association New Writers Award. He was Assistant Professor of Creative Writing/Poetry at University of South Florida.
