Jenny Factor's first book, Unraveling at the Name (Copper Canyon Press, 2002), won the 2000 Hayden Carruth Award and was a finalist for a 2002 Lambda Literary Award. She received the 2000 Astraea Foundation grant in poetry. Her poems are forthcoming or have recently appeared in The Paris Review, Prairie Schooner, Shenandoah, Verse, and other venues. She received her A.B. from Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges and her M.F.A. from the Bennington Writing Seminars.
