Katherine B. Weissman writes fiction (her stories have been published in Seventeen and Ploughshares), essays, and style features (she was a contributing editor at O the Oprah Magazine, for 10 years). Until 1998 she was executive editor of Mademoiselle, where she worked for 18 years.
