Kenny Fries is the author of Anesthesia: Poems (Advocado) and Body, Remember: A Memoir, which was recently released in paperback by Plume. He is also the editor of Staring Back: The Disability Experience from the Inside Out (Plume). He received the Gregory Kolovakos Award for AIDS Writing for The Healing Notebooks and teaches in the M.F.A. in Writing program at Goddard College.
