Kirk Nesset is the author of a book of short stories, Paradise Road, and The Stories of Raymond Carver (nonfiction). His book of translations, Alphabet of the World: Selected Work of Eugenio Montejo, is forthcoming at University of Oklahoma Press. The recipient of the Drue Heinz Literature Prize in 2007, a Pushcart Prize, and grants from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, he teaches creative writing and literature at Allegheny College.
