Lan Samantha Chang is the author of two novels, All Is Forgotten, Nothing Is Lost and Inheritance, and a story collection, Hunger. Hunger was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Art Seidenbaum Award andInheritance won the PEN Open Book Award. Her short fiction has appeared in The Atlantic Monthly, Ploughshares, and The Best American Short Stories. She has received fellowships from Stanford University, the National Endowment for the Arts, Princeton University, the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, and the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation. She lives in Iowa City, Iowa, where she teaches at and directs the Iowa Writers’ Workshop at the University of Iowa.
