Lawrence Raab, born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1946, is a graduate of Middlebury and Syracuse Universities. The author of nine books of poetry, Raab has also written screenplays and an unpublished opera liberetto based on Dracula. He has been featured in The Norton Anthology, several copies of Best American, and many other collections.
