Lee Meitzen Grue is the author of two collections of poetry, French Quarter Poems and In the Sweet Balance of the Flesh, which is new from Plain View Press. In 1984 she received an NEA grant for fiction and a PEN Syndicated Fiction Prize. She is the Director of the New Orleans Poetry Forum and Editor of The New Laurel Review.
