Lee Upton

Lee Upton is the author of nine books. Her fifth book of poetry, Undid in the Land of Undone, is forthcoming in fall 2007 from New Issues Press. Her fourth book of literary criticism, Defensive Measures, was published by Bucknell University Press. She is a recipient of the National Poetry Series Award, the Pushcart Prize, the Georgia Contemporary Poetry Series Award,and two awards from the Poetry Society of America. Her fiction has appeared in The Antioch Review, Ascent, Glimmer Train, The Ohio Review, Shenandoah, Del Sol Review, and elsewhere. Her poetry has appeared widely and in such publications as The Atlantic, The New Republic, American Poetry Review, Harvard Review, and The Georgia Review. She is the writer-in-residence at Lafayette College.
