Lewis Turco (alias "Wesli Court") is author of the newly published Revised and Expanded Fourth Edition, of The Book of Forms: A Handbook of Poetics, Including Odd and Invented Forms, and two companion volumes, The Book of Literary Terms, and The Book of Dialogue, all issued by the University Press of New England, plus fifty other books, another of which, Epitaphs for the Poets was recently published by BrickHouse Books of Baltimore. He was founder in 1962 of the Cleveland State University Poetry Center, and in 1968 of the Department of Creative Writing at S.U.N.Y. Oswego. Dr. Turco lives in retirement in Dresden Mills, Maine.
