Lisa Bernstein is Assistant Director of The Poetry Center at San Francisco State University. The author of The Transparent Body (Wesleyan, 1989) and Anorexia (Five Fingers, 1985), she has poems in recent or forthcoming issues of Field, Caliban, Calyx, and Yellow Silk. She is a jazz singer, songwriter, and technical writer.
