Madeline DeFrees
Madeline Defrees was the author of eight poetry collections, including the newest title, Blue Dusk: New & Selected Poems, 1951-2001, which won a Washington Book Award and the Lenore Marshall Price for 2002. She received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Guggenheim Foundation, and her poems have appeared in Urban Nature, Visiting Emily, The Ohio Review, and The Extraordinary Tide.
