MALENA MÖRLING was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1965, and moved to the U.S. when she was fifteen. She attended Hampshire College and New York University, and now lives in Northport, N.Y. Besides working in various offices, libraries, restaurants, and magic shows, she has published translations of Philip Levine's poems in the Swedish journal Artes, and is currently translating Levine's Selected Poems. Her work appeared in the Fall 1992 issue of New England Review.
