Marc Vincenz was born in Hong Kong, is Swiss-British and has published eight collections of poetry; his latest is Becoming the Sound of Bees (Ampersand Books, 2015). A book-length poem, Sibylline, is forthcoming with Ampersand Books in 2016. He is also the translator of many German-language poets, including Hermann Hesse Prize winner, Klaus Merz. He has been awarded several grants from the Swiss Arts council and a fellowship from the Literarisches Colloquium, Berlin. He lives in Cambridge, Mass.
