Marjorie Portnow's paintings have been included in exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, American Academy of Arts and Letters, and the Corcoran Gallery of Art. The recipient of numerous grants, she has taught at the New York Studio School, UC Santa Cruz, Brooklyn College, the University of Pennsylvania, and elsewhere. She is represented by the Peter Rose Gallery in New York.
