Martha Ronk

Martha Ronk has published thirteen books of poetry, a collection of short fiction, and an ironic memoir. Her 2022 publications include The Place One Is (Omnidawn) and A Myth of Ariadne, on De Chirico’s paintings of Ariadne (Parlor Press). Transfer of Qualities (Omnidawn, 2013) was long listed for the National Poetry Award; Vertigo (Coffee House Press, 2007) was a National Poetry series selection; in a landscape of having to repeat (Omnidawn, 2004) won the PEN America Award. Recent poems appear in Conjunctions. Her work is included in the Wesleyan series of twenty-first-century women poets, and her academic career was at Occidental College, where she is a professor of English and coordinator of creative writing.
