Matthew Thorburn is the author of Subject to Change (New Issues, 2004) and two forthcoming books of poems, Every Possible Blue (CW Books, 2012) and This Time Tomorrow (Waywiser, 2013), which includes “‘A Field of Dry Grass.’” He lives in New York City, where he works as a marketing manager for an international law firm.
