Memory Blake Peebles was a Henry Hoyns fellow at the University of Virginia, where she received her MFA in fiction.  She has received fellowships and scholarships from the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference and Vermont Studio Center. Her work has also been published in Crab Orchard Review and she is currently finishing a novel at the Writers' Room of Boston, where she serves as administrator.
