Meng Jin was born in Shanghai and now lives in Brooklyn. She holds an MFA in fiction from Hunter College, where she received a Hertog Fellowship and Cohen Story Prize. A Kundiman fellow, her stories have appeared in The Masters Review, The Baltimore Review, Bound Off, and Zymbol. She is currently at work on a novel.
