Mimi Dixon has won first prize in nonfiction in the Emerging Writers Contest at Ploughshares, as well as first prize in nonfiction at the Journal. She’s been a contest finalist at Chattahoochee Review and Fourth Genre, and published at Fourth Genre, the Pinch, Gettysburg Review, and Green Mountain Review. She has received two Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Awards.
