Monica Wendel is the author of No Apocalypse (Georgetown Review Press, 2013), which was selected by Bob Hicok as the winner of the Georgetown Review Poetry Prize and published by the press in 2013. She is also the author of two chapbooks, Pioneer (Thrush Press) and Call It a Window (Midwest Writing Center). An MFA recipient of NYU’s Creative Writing Program, where she received Goldwater and Starworks teaching fellowships, she is now an assistant professor at St. Thomas Aquinas College.
