Nan Cohen

Nan Cohen is the author of Rope Bridge (2005), a book of poems. She lives in Los Angeles and teaches in the Master of Professional Writing Program at the University of Southern California, as well as an independent school in the west Valley. She serves as the Poetry Program Director (formerly Poetry Director) of the Napa Valley Writers Conference, a summer conference in St. Helena, California. She has received fellowships and awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Rona Jaffe Foundation, and the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. She recently completed a second collection of poems, called Portions.
