Ralph James Savarese is the author of Reasonable People: A Memoir of Autism and Adoption (Other Press, 2007). He is also the coeditor of “The Lyrical Body,” a special issue of Seneca Review, and of Papa PhD: Essays on Fatherhood by Men in the Academy (Rutgers University Press, 2010). His creative work has appeared, among other places, in New England Review, Fourth Genre, Stone Canoe, Southwest Review, Sewanee Review, and Seneca Review. He teaches at Grinnell College.
