Rebecca Barry is a freelance writer living in Ithaca, New York. Her articles have appeared in publications such as Mademoiselle, Glamour, CosmoGirl!, George, and The New York Times Magazine. She was a finalist in Esquire's fiction contest this year, and is currently working on a collection of short stories. "Love Him, Petaluma" is her first published piece of fiction.
