Reginald Gibbons

Reginald Gibbons is the author of nine books of poems, including Creatures of a Day (Finalist for the National Book Award) and Slow Trains Overhead; a novel, Sweetbitter; translations of Sophocles and Euripides and of Spanish and Mexican poets; and a book about poetry, How Poems Think (2015).  He has taught at the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College, and is Frances Hooper Professor of Arts and Humanities at Northwestern University.
