Rosa Lane is author of a chapbook of poems, Roots and Reckonings (Granite Press, East, 1980). Her work has appeared in Crab Orchard Review, Passages North, and elsewhere. She was chosen as a finalist for several prizes, including the 2013 ABZ First Book Contest, 2013 Indiana Review 1/2 K Prize, and the Poets & Writers 2013 California Writers Exchange Award. She holds an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College and a PhD from UC Berkeley. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and is at work on another collection.
