Sharon Bryan is the author of four books of poems, most recently Flying Blind (Sarabande Books, 1996) and Sharp Stars (BOA Editions Ltd., 2009), which was the recipient of the Isabella Gardner Award from BOA Editions. She is also the editor of Where We Stand: Women Poets on Literary Tradition (W. W. Norton & Company, 1994), and coeditor, with William Olsen, of Planet on the Table: Poets on the Reading Life (Sarabande Books, 2003). She is on the faculty of the Lesley University low-residency MFA Program in Creative Writing in Cambridge, Mass., and lives in Seattle, Wash.
