He received an MFA in poetry from NYU and is the former editor of Yale Literary Magazine. With his wife, Casey Kait, he is the author of Digital Hustlers: Living Large and Falling Hard in Silicon Alley (HarperCollins, 2001). They live with their children in South Orange, NJ.
