Tomaž Šalamun lives in Ljubljana, Slovenia and occasionally teaches in the U.S. His recent books translated into English are The Book for My Brother (Mariner Books), Poker (Ugly Duckling Press), Woods and Chalices (Harcourt), and There's the Hand and There's the Arid Chair (Counterpath Press).
