Vendela Vida is the award-winning author of five books, including the novels Let the Northern Lights Erase Your Name (Ecco, 2007) and The Diver’s Clothes Lie Empty (Ecco, 2015). She’s also a founding editor of The Believer Magazine, the editor of The Believer Book of Writers Talking to Writers (McSweeney’s, 2005), and the coeditor of Confidence, Or the Appearance of Confidence: The Best of the Believer Music Interviews (McSweeney’s, 2014). She lives in Northern California.
