Virginia Chase Sutton's poems have appeared in The Paris Review, The Antioch Review, Boulevard, Quarterly West, and other publications. Her poetry manuscript, Netting the Gaudy Pearls, has been a finalist for the Walt Whitman Award, the National Poetry Series, and many other competitions. She teaches writing and lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
