Wyn Cooper's second collection of poems, The Way Back, will be published in the spring of 2000 by White Pine Press. Recent poems appear in Denver Quarterly, Fence, and several anthologies, including Outsiders. He wrote the profile of Madison Smartt Bell that appears in this issue. He lives in Vermont.
