Yerra Sugarman is the author of three poetry collections: Forms of Gone (Sheep Meadow Press, 2002), The Bag of Broken Glass (Sheep Meadow Press, 2008), and the forthcoming Aunt Bird (Four Way Books, March 2022). She has received an NEA Fellowship in Poetry, among other honors, and holds a PhD in creative writing and literature from the University of Houston. Currently, she is a visiting assistant professor of creative writing at the University of Toledo in Ohio.
