Zeina Hashem Beck

Zeina Hashem Beck is a Lebanese poet with a BA and an MA in English Literature from the American University of Beirut. Her first poetry collection, To Live in Autumn (Backwaters Press, 2014), won the 2013 Backwaters Prize, judged by Lola Haskins. She has been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes and her poems have appeared in Nimrod, Poetry Northwest, The Common, Cream City Review, Copper Nickel, Mizna, The Midwest Quarterly, and Mslexia, among other publications. Zeina lives with her husband and two daughters in Dubai, where she regularly performs her poetry. Her website is zeinahashembeck.com.
